Bio: Born x raised in East Tennessee, Church Hill to be exact, I was always active and into fitness. Squatting since diapers, ya dig? I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, learning about and lifting weights, long walks on the beach, traveling, Disney vacays (don’t judge me), watching the Vols, and being around family and friends.

I knew at a young age (around 11) that I wanted to become a PT when I was recovering from a shoulder injury sustained from years of competitive, travel baseball. I pursued this dream with a Bachelor’s degree from ETSU in Exercise Science while working as a personal trainer and stocker at the local Food City. I then got accepted and graduated from the Doctorate Program at ETSU for Physical Therapy in 2019.

While in school, I realized my passion for PT did not quite align with the traditional PT model being taught in school and out in the field during clinical rotations. I traveled to Utah, Arizona, and here at home (in Tennessee) for rotations. One thing I noticed is that the traditional PT model needs a change… and fast. More empowering patients and loading patients appropriately with strength and conditioning principles and less visits and insurance influence.

After graduation, I pursued travel PT in North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida. I also have had stents of home health PT here in East Tennessee as well.

All of these great experiences led to this… Tri Star Strength x Rehab.
